Allbridge, a platform that provides cross-chain bridge capabilities for the transfer of assets between EVM and non-EVM compatible blockchains, has integrated with Tezos (XTZ/USD), a leading proof-of-stake network.
This crypto news on Tezos cross-chain integration comes as a result of a collaboration between Allbridge and MadFish.Solutions, a Tezos decentralized finance ecosystem provider.
According to an announcement made by the Allbridge team on Friday with Invezz, the collaboration aims to increase liquidity on the energy-efficient Tezos blockchain.
With this development, 16 blockchains are set to integrate with Tezos, increasing interoperability between the chains.
The launch of the Tezos cross-chain bridge means that the Tezos ecosystem will be seamlessly interoperable with other leading platforms such as Polygon, BNB Chain, and Solana.
Top coins and tokens joining the Tezos network include USDC, BUSD, and Allbridge’s native token ABR.
There are also plans to expand the feature to 15 different chains supported by Allbridge, and all supported tokens will be available on the decentralized trading protocol QuipuSwap DEX.
Allbridge co-founder and CEO Andriy Velukyy commented on the collaboration:
“Tezos is a blockchain with a proven track record, an extensive ecosystem of DeFi and NFT projects, and a unique on-chain governance mechanism.” Our integration with Tezos is a special collaboration with a partner team.
“Together with our friends at MadFish.Solutions, we bring Tezos community access to 16 different chains and provide a gateway for them to join Tezos via QuipuSwap DEX.”
Allbridge will add support for major coins and tokens such as BTC, ETH, SOL, AVAX, NEAR, and USDT as part of future integrations.
The bridge will also bring other leading stablecoins to Tezos, according to the Allbridge team.
