Polygon Launches “Web3: Made In India Tour”

Polygon, the creator of the leading Ethereum scaling and blockchain development platform, today announced the “Web3″ Made in India Tour,” a month-long initiative aimed at educating, inspiring, and supporting the Web3 ecosystem in India.

The tour will include eight events across the country, culminating with the inaugural Polygon Connect event in Bangalore on December 1, 2022.

Polygon Connect is a global initiative that brings the Polygon ecosystem together through live events, hackathons, and community gatherings.

Through a thought-provoking, keynote-powered, and networking-heavy mainstage event, Connect will bring together every aspect of India’s vibrant blockchain and software developer landscape.

Connecting Polygons Among the speakers are Sandeep Nailwal, Co-Founder of Polygon, Ryan Selkis, CEO of Messari, Sailesh Lakhani, Founder of Sequoia Capital, and Haseeb Qureshi, Managing Partner of Dragonfly.

Sandeep Nailwal, Co-Founder of Polygon, said of Polygon Connect’s inaugural India event, “India has a huge potential to build a good Web3 ecosystem.” The country is a developing developer land, and empowering the Indian developer ecosystem is critical for constructing the next-generation Web3 world.

“Polygon Connect aims to bring the Web3 community together and provide them with the opportunity to participate in live events, workshops, and panel discussions that will help them kickstart their dream projects.

“We are excited to bring our global initiative to our home country of India, where we will continue to guide and support the local developer communities.”

Polygon will host ‘Guild Events,’ community-driven events, in seven cities leading up to Connect in India, beginning with Kochi on November 5 and continuing with Jaipur, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi.

The roadshow aims to bring together some of the blockchain world’s brightest minds to provide in-person, hands-on blockchain education at Guilds across the country.

These Seven Guild events in various cities across the subcontinent will encourage local developer communities to collaborate and build for a global Web3 audience.

Polygon is teaming up with best-in-class partners Animoca Brands, Sino Global Capital, and Push Protocol for these roadshows across India to celebrate the efforts of people who have made Web3 possible.

Polygon is collaborating with Reskill (link to website) and Pesto to engage with 50 campuses across India to take blockchain education to the next level.

Web3: Made in India Roadshow will culminate in the first-ever Polygon Connect: India in Bengaluru on the eve of ETHIndia at the end of November.
